Photoland offers a complete Video-to-DVD/USB service from a range of magnetic and analogue tapes.
We can copy VHS tapes, Mini DV tapes, and the original 8mm tapes (both in Standard 8 and Super 8 format).
In addition we can convert to and/or from NTSC (USA) format tapes.

| Can I play or edit the DVD on my PC? | Yes, so long as you have the appropriate software |
| Can I play the DVD in my DVD player? | Yes. The DVD files are in VOB format. |
| What is VOB format? | VOB is a higher grade format than AVI or MPEG format. It is the same format as any other DVD you may buy. |

Video Transfers The video transfers onto a DVD are copied to DVD at the highest quality. This file is known as a VOB file format, suitable for playing through a dvd player on a TV. This file is not able to be edited. If you wish to edit the DVD at the same time that we supply the DVD tranfser, we can also supply you with a 2nd copy of the DVD in an editable MP4 format - cost is $19.95 per DVD in addition to the original video tranfser order - at the same time as the VOB format is supplied (or $34.95 per DVD if ordered at a later stage). MP4 files play on computers and can be edited. In order to play the edited MP4 version on a DVD player, the MP4 file will require DVD authorising (converting back to a DVD playable format) |
